Be careful of what you drink the water!

Often drinking water from plastic bottles do yourself a disservice. Why? For the chemical composition of plastic. At the bottom of each package, see the triangle with the number in the middle. He tells how dangerous your plastic.

Probably the ten or more years no one had ever thought that we would drink plain water from plastic bottles. Today it is more out of habit rather than need, because the water from most water is still drinkable. However, often you are drinking water from plastic packaging we do a disservice. Why? For the chemical composition of plastic. At the bottom of each package, see the triangle with the number in the middle. He says, how dangerous your plastic.

1 - PET (often PETE) - These bottles are in most cases intended for single use. There is a possibility that discharge heavy metal antimony EPA chemical substance, which interferes with the action of hormones. These bottles can be discharged and carcinogens.

2 - HDP (sometimes HDPE) - This is a 'good' plastic, for which there is least likelihood of releases of chemicals into the water.

3 - PVC (sometimes 3V) - The two plastic releases toxic chemicals, both of which interfere with hormone action in the human body. Nevertheless, it is still commonly used for plastic bottles.

4 - LDPE - Plastic that does not release chemicals into the water. Nevertheless it is not used for making plastic bottles, but mainly for the production of plastic bags for groceries.

5 - PP - Another of the 'good' plastic, usually white or translucent color. It is used for bottles that are packed in syrup or a glass of yogurt.

6 - PS - The plastic water discharged into a carcinogenic substance styrene. Most often used in coffee cups disposable packaging or fast food.

7 - PC (or no label) - This is the worst plastic for food products because it secretes a chemical BPA.Unfortunately, it is used in infant bottles, sports bottles and containers for food storage.

Plastics, which do not release chemicals into the water, then, 2, 4 and 5, and labeled HDP, HDPE, LDPE, PP. For all other rather consider their use. It is still best to keep the water in glass bottles.

The time is coming when we will, unfortunately, more and more water to carry with you. The worst is the way its delegation in plastic packaging, especially the one with labels 1,3,6 or 7 The water in these bottles is subject to temperature or chemical action, and the subsequent charge and bacteriological.Poželne would jars, but they are impractical, because the recommended aluminum bottles (not plastic, because the prices are usually the worst plastic) with a protective sleeve that separates the content of aluminum. For drinking water in the office best buy small jars for personal use, which are in the market, so do something useful for your health and the environment.
